okay...so I need to start adding new posts more regularly - or at least develop the blog so that there are many more lovely things to have a squiz at! especially my soy candles!
this little journey began back around november last year when my bestie leah & her gorgeous friend deb (visiting from melbourne) accompanied me on a mini roadtrip out to burpengary for a morning of soy candle making - bliss!
i had bought a beautiful lemongrass scented soy candle in a mosaic container a couple of years earlier at the uni markets and had wanted to learn how to make them myself ever since. i finally got my act together and did some searching online, where i discovered Cheryl's soy candle website and emailed her to see if she did classes by any chance? she didn't...but generously invited us to come out to her home and make some with her....and so it began for me.
since then, many of my candles now sit in the homes of friends & family and i have also made some customised ones for friend's weddings - here are some shots i took at two of those weddings!
